Rory Nowicki joined Scotsman Guide as a senior account executive with a focus on growing current lender partnerships as well as cultivating new lender connections for the sales team. He brings more than eight years of experience in mortgage lending sales and more than a decade in the sales industry. Most recently, he served as a loan officer at Caliber Home Loans, with previous experience at Guaranteed Rate and TCF Bank. Prior to the mortgage industry, Nowicki served in the U.S. Navy and is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s College with a bachelor’s degree in sociology.
Planet Home Lending hired Lynette Hale-Lee as Western regional manager. Hale-Lee will be tasked with recruiting additional mortgage originators and opening new branches in the West. Most recently, she was Western regional manager at Wintrust Mortgage for six years, and prior to that, she served as president of Capstone Direct Mortgage Funding.
Holland Partner Group promoted Raymond Connell from development director of the San Francisco Bay Area to managing director of Seattle. Connell has more than 17 years of real estate experience and has been part of Holland Development since 2015. Before joining Holland Development, Connell worked with Lowe Enterprises, Archstone and BlackRock. Raymond holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin and a bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College.
Fathom Holdings announced the appointment of Scott Flanders to its board of directors. He will serve as chair of Fathom’s compensation committee. Most recently, Flanders was CEO and a board member at eHealth Inc. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a tax and business consultant. Flanders earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado and a J.D. from Indiana University.
Xactus announced that Ross Gloudeman has joined the company as general counsel and chief compliance officer. Gloudeman is responsible for providing leadership around Xactus’ legal and compliance strategies, managing its legal and compliance initiatives, implementing improvements and administering changes as regulatory developments for the credit and mortgage industries require them. Prior to joining Xactus, Gloudeman was general counsel and chief compliance officer for Azimuth GRC and held executive roles in legal, risk and compliance at Home Point Financial Corp. He also served as executive risk and compliance officer for Walter Investment Management Corp. and as chief compliance and regulatory counsel for Black Knight. He received his bachelor’s degree and law degree from the University of Wisconsin.
Birchwood Credit Services, a national provider of mortgage credit reporting services, announced the promotion of Barret Elliot to chief operating officer. Elliot has worked in the financial-services industry for more than 27 years, 18 of which have been in mortgage and real estate. His tenure at Birchwood began in March 2010. The company also has promoted Jasmine Kuzak to director of human resources. She joined Birchwood Credit Services in July 2020 as an HR generalist. She has worked in human resources since 2014 in a variety of industries; in her new position, she is responsible for providing strategic leadership in all aspects of HR.
Western Alliance Bancorporation has named Patty Arvielo, president and co-founder of New American Funding, as a director on its board. She also is joining the board’s risk and finance and investment committees.
